Finding a Computer's IP Address

Windows 10

• Select the Cortana Circle to the right of the Windows icon 
   
• Type cmd in the box and select Command Prompt to open the application
   
• Type IPconfig in the command prompt and press the Enter key 
   
• The IP address is listed as IPv4 Address 
   

MAC OSX

• Click the Apple pull down menu
   
• Click System Preferences, then click the Network icon
   
• In the Network window, highlight Built-in Ethernet or Airport
   
• Click the Configure button
   
• The IP address appears in the TCP/IP tab, which is loaded by default
