Email and Server Settings for DC Metro, IL, MA, NY and PA

Email storage limits for all accounts is 5Gb
 

For devices like apple and other device that do not support SSL, secure sign-on is not required using SSL
 

Astound.net email settings (These settings work for all astound.net email addresses)
 

• Incoming IMAP Mail Server (To receive email)
   
  • Standard: mail.astound.net (Port 143)
     
  • SSL:  mail.astound.net - (Port 993) Note: SSL is used for added security. Astound mail does not require SSL
     
• Incoming POP Mail Server (To receive email)
   
  • Standard:  mail.astound.net - (Port 110)
     
  • SSL:  mail.astound.net - (Port 995)  Note: SSL is used for added security. Astound mail does not require SSL
     
• Outgoing SMTP Mail Server (To send email)
   
  • Authentication must be used with either of the two options
     
    • mail.astound.net (Port 25) 
       
    • mail.astound.net alternate port- (Port 587)  STARTLS with smtp on port 587 is currently enabled

  • username@astound.net ( passwords are case sensitive)
