Manage Skipped Channels - Passport Echo (DVR)

Introduction

- When you would like a channel to not show up when you are channel surfing, you can put them in Skipped Channels
- Skipped Channels is a feature only available to Passport boxes
- When you would like a channel to not show up when you are channel surfing, you can put them in Skipped Channels
Resolution Steps

To Add Skipped Channels
- Press Menu twice to reach the General Settings page
- Go to My Preferences | Skipped Channels
- All skipped channels are displayed; if none are skipped you will see No Entries

- Press the right arrow button to move to the Channels column
- To add skipped channels:
- Press the up or down arrow buttons (or numeric keypad) to select the channel you want to skip
- Press the OK/Select on your remote. The channel number is added to Skipped Channels

Skipped channels will populate to the right
- Press the up or down arrow buttons (or numeric keypad) to select the channel you want to skip
- To remove skipped channels:
- Press the up or down arrow buttons (or numeric keypad) to select the channel you want to remove from the skipped list
- Press the OK/Select on your remote. The channel number is removed from Skipped Channels
- You can clear all of your skipped channels by selecting Clear All in the channel column above the channel line-up
- Press the up or down arrow buttons (or numeric keypad) to select the channel you want to remove from the skipped list
To set your Guide to skip the channels you've selected:
- Press Guide on your remote
- Press A on your remote
- Select Custom (1,2,etc)
- Select Set up | Hide | Hide Skipped Channels
- Press A on your remote to accept
- Select Use now or Use Always, depending on your preference
- Press Menu twice to reach the General Settings page
