Passport Guide: Creating DVR Power On / Power Off Timers

• The Power On timer lets you to set a time of day for the set-top box to turn on automatically


• The Power Off timer lets you to set a time of day for the set-top box to turn off automatically
   
  • Please note: scheduled recordings are unaffected when the power timer turns off the set-top box

Setting the Power On Timer

• Press Menu twice at anytime while watching TV


• Select Timers | Select Power On Timer


• Select the Channel, Date, Hour, Minute, and AM/PM


• Go back; set the Power On Status to On


• Turn Off the converter before the timer is set to turn on the TV

• Press Menu twice at anytime while watching TV


• Select Timers | Select Power Off Timer


• Select the Channel, Date, Hour, Minute, and AM/PM


• Go back; set the Power Off Status to On
