TiVo Power Saving Mode / Stand By

To conserve power, your 6 Tuner TiVo can go into Standby mode

• This should not be confused with a Mini's timeout feature, this is an intentional, manual setting on your 6 Tuner TiVo

For 2 Tuners, 4 Tuners, 6 Tunes and Minis on Experience 3

• Go to TiVo Central  |  Settings & Messages  |  Standby    (see steps)
   
• The TV displays a standby screen and the lights on the front of the TiVo go out
   
• Current and scheduled recordings are recorded as usual
   
• The TiVo still maintains its internet connection to the TiVo service
   
• If you temporarily turned off Parental Controls, Standby mode re-enables them
   
• If Live TV is Paused when Standby is selected, the TiVo box remains paused for up to 30 minutes
   
• To bring the TiVo out of Standby, press the TiVo button or Live TV button on the remote
  
   

For 4K 6 Tuners, 6 Tuners, 4K Minis and Minis on TiVo Experience 4 

• Go to TiVo Home  |  left arrow to Menu  |  Green Circle  |  Standby    (see steps)
   
• The TV displays a standby screen and the lights on the front of the TiVo go out
   
• Current and scheduled recordings are recorded as usual
   
• The TiVo still maintains its internet connection to the TiVo service
   
• If you temporarily turned off Parental Controls, Standby mode re-enables them
   
• If Live TV is Paused when Standby is selected, the TiVo box remains paused for up to 30 minutes
   
• To bring the TiVo out of Standby, press the TiVo button or Live TV button on the remote
