Ameba App on TiVo

Ameba is a video streaming service that is geared for kids to help them with school and prepare for life

Ameba is free with advertisements and an upgrade option is available to a premium service that removes the ads and allowed additional access to more great features

• Content is available in SD, HD and 4K
   
• Closed caption is available for videos
   
• Premium Subscription allows for ad free content

   

To Access:

• 4 Tuners, 2 Tuners, Single Tuners, and Minis on TiVo Experience 3
   
  • Go to TiVo Central | Apps & OnDemand  | Ameba to get started
    (see steps)
     
• 4K 6 Tuners, 6 Tuners , 4K Minis, and Minis on TiVo Experience 4
   
  • Go to TiVo Home | Apps | All | Ameba  to get started
    (see steps)
     
• Not available on IPTV boxes

• Sign in is not required to access the Ameba app
   
• Creating a profile gives you access to favorites, viewing history, and more
   
• If you would like to use a profile, you must sign in each TiVo separately

How to sign Up:
 

• Click the profile icon (looks like a person) on the main screen and choose sign up
   
• Enter your email address and password using the on-screen keyboard
   
  • Use the shift key for capital letters and special characters
     
• Check the I Agree to the Terms of Service box (available on amebatv.com/tos)
   
• Select Add a New Profile and choose a name (or select an existing profile)

• Selecting a video on the list outlines the option in red
   
• The selected video plays after a short advertisement
   
• Press the Up button for show information, and access to the Fast Forward, Rewind and Pause controls
   
  • The FF, REW and Pause buttons on the remote also work here
