TiVo WishList Searches

Know what you like, but not sure if or when it’s on? Create a WishList search for an actor, director, keyword, title, or category

Please Note: The Wishlist feature is not available on IPTV devices

TiVo Central | Search, OnePass, & Manage | WishList Searches
Select My WishLists, then Create a New WishList Search
Enter as many of the following criteria as needed:
- Keyword or Title
  - TiVo looks for keywords in the show or episode title, description, actor, director, year, and category information. A Title search looks only at show and episode titles
  - When finished, move to Done entering keywords then press OK/Select
- Actor or Director
  - As letters are selected, a list of names appears to the right of the grid. Highlight and select the name you want
  - Choose Done picking actors or Add another actor to make the WishList search even more specific
- Category
  - Choose a category and, if desired, a subcategory (example Sports | Racing)
Select Done creating this WishList when finished entering terms
- Any shows matching criteria are automatically recorded and appear in your My Shows list

WishList searches appear in the My WishLists list, select to view upcoming shows or set auto-recording options

Select My WishLists and select the WishList to modify from the right column
Select WishLists Info | WishList Options | Modify WishList

Select My WishLists and select the WishList to delete from the right column
Select WishLists Info | WishList Options | Delete WishList

TiVo Central | Search | Create a WishList Search
Start choosing criteria for a WishList search. Choose any or all of the following:
- Title/ Keyword for shows with specific words in the show title, episode title, or description
- Actor: Search for shows with your favorite actor
- Director: Search for shows by a specific director
- Category: Search for specific categories and sub-categories of shows (for example, action movies or nature documentaries)
After entering initial search criteria, TiVo returns to the WishList screen. Continue adding as many search criteria as needed
When finished entering search criteria, select Done entering terms then press OK/Select
Select Save Wishlist with these options

With Auto-record this WishList matches turned on, each search and its upcoming recordings appear My Shows, the To Do List, and the OnePass Manager

WishList search appears in the My WishLists list, select it to view upcoming shows or set auto-recording options

Select the WishList to modify
Select Modify Recording Options
- Turn auto-recording on or off
- If auto-recording is on, choose whether to record only new shows (or reruns as well)
- Choose how many shows to keep and more
- Return to the WishList screen to browse upcoming shows that match the criteria and schedule recordings
