Introduction

Priority Call emits a distinctive ring tone when you receive a call from a phone number on your Priority Call list
- Must subscribe to the a la carte feature, a feature package that includes Priority Call or use as a per use feature
- With Call Waiting, a distinctive tone also sounds when a number on your Priority Call list is waiting to be answered
- Also known as Distinctive Alert in California, Oregon and Washington
- Numbers not programmed to the Priority Call list that are outside the calling area, or operator assistance calls, ring through normally

- All other markets: program up to 10 numbers on your Priority Call list

Activate Priority Call or Create a Priority Call List
- Listen for dial tone, then dial *61
- A tutorial prompts a user to Priority Call on, add a phone number, remove a phone numbers or hear phone numbers on their list
Deactivate Priority Call
- Listen for dial tone, then dial *61
- To remove 1 or more phone numbers, press the * key
- Listen to instructions in the tutorial for each entry
